Best taco place ever!! I got Al pastor, carne asada, mushroom, and pollo asada tacos and they were all so delicious! The elote is probably one of the best I’ve had. Their chips and guac don’t disappoint either! I would recommend trying their sauces and horchata! Definitely a go to place when in SD!

Local mexican food chain. Very good quality food and service in any of their locations. Seating is always an issue, especially during lunch rush, but it's worth it. I recommend the Al Pastor Burrito. The prices are fantastic despite the downtown location.

Let's talk about the main event: the Baja Tacos. There is something truly magical about the way these are executed—the fish is perfectly crisp, the batter is light, and that creamy, zesty drizzle? Absolute perfection. You can tell they aren’t cutting corners; everything from the handmade corn tortillas to the scratch-made salsas screams fresh. But, pro-tip: do NOT sleep on the corn. I repeat, you have to try the corn! It’s the kind of side that easily could have been an afterthought, but instead, it’s a total flavor bomb that stands right up there with the tacos. Also, the workers are amazing and so nice.

Awesome. That might be enough to persuade you to go but here’s a bit more if you are not sure. Located on B Street just a few blocks north of the Gaslamp Quarter, this downtown location allows you to eat banging tacos at highly reasonable prices without leaving town. We had the hand-pressed corn tortillas filled with authentic al pastor, carne asada, and the buttered local fish, paired with their incredible selection of sauces (all free). It’s a proper cheap eats place with fast service at casual, indoor or outdoor seating options. This was the best food we ate in San Diego.

Another taco place where people are queuing out of the door. Always a good sign. Lots of delivery pick ups too, and it was a Sunday lunchtime. I ordered a couple of baja tacos and a pastor. I was told it would be a 25 mins wait, as they were very busy. It only took 15 mins in the end and the food was delicious. The baja was fresh, crispy and packed with toppings. The pastor was very nice too. Top tacos all round!
