How I love this neighborhood club! People are friendly and fun. I stopped by early on a Saturday night and was dazzled by Xmas decorations they just put up for the season and a great new band playing out for one of it's first gigs. As the band played to an enthusiastic audience, everyone in the room felt like we were sharing something special. Drinks are delicious and affordable, they don't charge for water- even bubbly water! Drop in!
This place is great for a night out! Sometimes they have drag shows and you cant miss great music! The dance are is perfect. They have sitting area and people dance everywhere. Is always a good vibe!
Service is awful. The drinks are subpar and not worth the cost. Go anywhere else on York or Figueroa to get quality drinks for a ~$2-3 difference and MUCH better service. Atmosphere on a Sunday night from 8-11pm was chill, but boring. Go here if youre slone and trying to dissociate with loud music. There was live music, and a DJ playing reggae, but it was loud. Not a good place for a conversation. It was pretty dead with a mixed crowd - mostly solo men having a drink. I won't be returning.
New in town, so I drop by on a weekday to check out the scene but to my dismay I lost my driver's license/id and tried to use my expired id. The security guard follows the rules but still made me feel welcome so I respect that. She allowed me to come in but I couldn't buy alcohol.Bartenter was polite. Overall this looks like a good place to have fun on weekends. I'll be back when I fix my ID issue thanks.
Love this place! The bartenders are always friendly and knowledgeable. There is always something fun happening here. They have the best drag shows in Los Angeles every Monday night
