Look, it's a bit "traditional" red leather, old school bar with "sexy" servers, with very short skirts, but great steak, good calamari and the old fashion was spot on. This would be great for a guys night out, good first date for someone ummm young and less experienced with class but overall, it was good for $100 meal plus drinks for the guys to go hang out. The gals are super friendly, I enjoyed their company but if I was on a date, be careful gents, don't stare and it'll be fine. Overall, I'll return with my kids cuz they like good steak and this place delivered.
Checked out their happy hour and was 100% worth it! Ordered the crab cakes and they were delicious! Kim, the bartender, even went out of her way to learn and remember everyone's names. Was very impressed with the service, the food, and the vibe. I recommend checking this place out and sitting at the bar. You won't be disappointed, especially if Kim is your bartender.
Very expensive is the first thing to know. Walking in to a $100 meal should not include dirty sock laying out front to greet me. Someone needs to incorporate a building walk before opening ensuring outdoors is squared away. First impressions matter. The women’s uniforms did not fit the atmosphere. The atmosphere is warm/dark hold Hollywood vibe, they are wearing a Hooters equivalent bottom that’s a shirt instead of shorts. I ordered the special surf and turf and rose spritz. Steak was great, potatoes standard, lobster little bland and dry/tough. Bread was also great addition, the garlic oil with it was fantastic. The drink was different, very floral but once ice melted down more palatable. I did not ask the price of the special but assumed 80ish, I overheard other tables ask around me. One was told $115, another told $90, my bill was $107 (which is tax included-drink on a different bill).
Came here on a Tuesday with family and friends for dinner around 5. We did a walk-in as a party of 6. We had to wait about 10 minutes before a table was ready. The waiting area only had a handful of seats, and was right next to the bathroom. The smell of the bathroom, which isn't a clean smell, drifted into the waiting area. When we were seated, we all received menus and the waitress gave us a quick moment before coming back to ask about drinks and going over the specials for the day. We ended up ordering a a few appetizers and sides: Roasted Brussel Sprouts, Crispy Calamari, Duck Fat Wedge Fries, and Truffle Parmesan Fries. The Brussel Sprouts were the best out of all the appetizers. For my family with the mail dises, we got a Porterhouse and the Torfio River Salmon to share between the three of us. I asked for medium rare for the Porterhouse, which was cooked right, and tasted great. The Salmon was good well, and the sides it came with were good too. The service was not that attentive. The waitress staff was dressed in short Santa outfits for the holiday. We had to flag down the waitresses when we needed water or extra plate and silverware. The atmosphere is not loud so we were able to have a conversations at the table. The dining area felt a bit dark, making me question a couple of things. Not sure where they source their ingredients, but prices are high. There is parking available all around the restaurant. I wouldn't come back.
Visited The Butcher Shop with high expectations, and while there were definite highlights, the experience was a bit mixed. The standout dish was absolutely the beef carpaccio—an incredible flavor profile, beautifully balanced, and easily the best part of the meal. It showed real care and culinary intention. On the downside, my drink was very ice-heavy, which diluted it more than I would have liked. Service was also inconsistent; our waitress seemed distracted at times, which affected the overall flow of the experience. The prime rib tips were disappointing—overly salty and mostly end pieces, which felt less intentional and more like leftovers than a curated dish. Additionally, the accompanying butters lacked salt, which was surprising given how well-seasoned other elements of the menu can be. There’s clear potential here, and the kitchen shows flashes of excellence, but some execution and service details need tightening to match the price point and reputation.
