A few months ago, I visited this salon for my wedding and had an amazing experience. From the moment I walked in, they made me feel special and beautiful. I have very thick hair, and my hairstyle lasted all day, which really impressed me. They also specialize in many other services, and I would definitely visit them again!

This salon is probably the only place ill be ever go for my extensions and blowouts not only does yanibel (the owner) works with you in what you want to do but she also makes sure that the integrity of your hair is taken care of! The salon ambiance is a 10/10! And all of the technicians are phenomenal at there job i love that i can trust everyone there with my hair! I couldn't recommend enough !

Yanibel and the entire staff at The Barbie Hairstylist and Nails are amazing. They are the ultimate professionals and their extensive knowledge of their craft leaves you confident that your hair and nails will be well cared for. They are very knowledgeable about what works for each client and they are able to meet the expectations and beyond. Their use of techniques and products are top notch. In addition, everyone at the salon is nice, sweet and make you feel like you are family. Highly recommend them! I’ve been in search of a salon that delivers what they promise, and I finally found it. Thank you Yanibel and staff, you guys are amazing!

I went in for a haircut on Saturday 5/23. My appointment was at 2:30p and the lady I was scheduled with asked kindly that I be patient as she was finishing up blow drying a client. I of course was okay with the wait as I was so excited to get a very needed haircut. After she finished she ended up straightening the clients hair and about an hour and 20 minutes later I was finally next. She asked if I wanted a butterfly cut and I responded no and showed her photos of how I wanted it. During the shampoo she was trying to comb through my hair and it was very painful as the comb was definitely not going to get through my hair, but she kept trying. (My fault for not speaking up). After that she began to cut and during my blow dry the two hairstylists were discussing and slightly arguing with another client who was next to me who had indicated that she had been there for a long time and that her service was being completed by multiple people which was causing a delay. (I had seen 2 people work on her in the time I was there, one of them had left for the day the other was finishing another clients extensions). The discussion was definitely uncomfortable as both my stylist and the other were discussing with the upset client. My stylist cut and blow dryed my hair and upon finishing she took photos but never showed me with a mirror or anything. She assured me it looked good and I agreed until I got home. I held up a mirror and instantly regretted the haircut. I had received a very feathery layered look when I wanted a more uniform layered cut (I showed her the photos). I ended up spending $166 (including tip) on a bad haircut and terrible experience. I could have gone back but I reside in Lehigh and had already made the 40 minute drive to and from the salon. I accept some fault as an introvert I do not tend to speak up especially in new environments. I ended going to a different stylist at a different salon who was more one on one and she really understood what I wanted and definitely noticed the mistakes in the first cut. My second cut was $65 (including tip) and the stylist was friendlier and gave the best wash with a scalp massage I’ve ever have received. I have inserted a photo of a snippet of what I hated most of my original haircut. Overall, the salon seems to overbook and I understand the hustle is real but I wish they would’ve been honest about the delay or wait. Second, I trusted them with my hair and I unfortunately will not be returning due to the lack of understanding and discomfort that was experienced. The service seems to be extremely overpriced considering I only received a blow dry and not a whole hairstyle.

had a great experience with Barbie Hairstylist! All the hairstylist are so professional, friendly, and really took the time to understand what I wanted. Their attention to detail and skill made the entire appointment enjoyable, and I was very happy with the final result. The service was excellent from start to finish, and I felt comfortable and well taken care of throughout the process. I highly recommend Barbie Hairstylist to anyone looking for quality hair services and a wonderful overall experience!
