We had the best service while we stayed at Azure condo for our family vacation. Our chairs were ready early every morning for our Bible reading time, they were in the same place all week, they even racked the beach when the grass stuff came in. Joey and his team were so polite and hard working. And Daniel who I believe is the owner was super responsive and helpful when my mom over booked their reservations. And Daniel was out there as well working with these young men. Highly recommend!
Andrew at Aqua villa was an outstanding beach attendant! He was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our time at the beach. He was always quick to help with a smile and went above and beyond to make our experience relaxing and enjoyable. His excellent service really stood out, and we truly appreciated his hard work. Thank you, Andrew, for making our beach day so great! Highly recommend!
We had a wonderful experience with Sunset Beach Service at Aqua Villa thanks to Andrew! The young man who helped our family was incredibly kind, professional, and always willing to go the extra mile. He made sure we had everything we needed, answered all of our questions with a smile, and was genuinely friendly throughout our stay. His positive attitude and excellent customer service made our beach days so much more enjoyable. It’s clear he cares about the guests and takes pride in his work.
I want to give a big shout out to Braden at Sunset Beach Service for retrieving my lost wallet while doing his work. Not only did he search nearby hotels to find me and when he couldn’t locate where I was staying had his family locate my local town authorities to contact me and let me know. They were able to come to the airport to return it to me only hours before my flight back home. Speaks to his character and the kind people Sunset Beach Service has at their company. Such great people!
We splurged on condo at Surf Dweller, our first time at FWB and on the gulf, a 13 hour drive from home. On the last full day of our stay, we were denied beach chair service by this chair rental company manager due to a “pattern of disruption.” In reality, we were confused by their unclear inconsistently enforced system that states “you get 2 beach chairs + umbrella with your room everyday” and “first come first served” but also “pay extra to reserve chairs” that the room owner/renter (us) already paid for plus “provide names and room numbers” to the employee chair boys in the late in the afternoon. There were hardly any chairs out that were not reserved for us to choose from. Neighboring hotels had two rows of chairs/umbrellas set up by the same company, but ours only had one. However, despite misunderstanding and disagreeing with how things were run (this chair company seems to own the beach and monopolized it), we followed their rules respectfully when told. Over days, we joked with them, tipped them, discussed the best places to eat. Things got very heated the last day between the employees and other guests over the chairs, I calmly stated the system doesn’t make sense and the beach chair guys called for law enforcement. When I returned to my chair, manager Shawn approached demanding answers for minor past issues that had already been quickly and easily resolved. He said we were “done” and I had to “vacate our provided two chairs immediately because I interjected myself into the argument with the other guests.” I twice tried to explain, but he cut me off, saying he wasn’t “wasting more of his day, just get off the chairs” so I did. We called the chair rental owner to report the staff’s unprofessionalism by disrespect and escalation. The owner admitted a sign explaining the chair system should have been posted—it was finally put up after our experience and complaint. When we contacted the condo owner, they said the chair staff already reported us/this situation to them and they are a separate entity so nothing could be done. So we were never provided any closure or amends. Overall, I was embarrassed (many spectators), shaken, uneasy, and anxious. The entire situation could’ve been easily avoided with clear directions so we knew what to expect from the start. We should feel happy, relaxed, and safe on our family vacation.
