We just had the best day ever! Captain Josh put us on fish in some pretty crazy wind. I actually canceled the trip 2 days ago due to the forecasted strong wind/storms. We really wanted to go fishing while here on spring break so I called him last night and we're able to keep today's trip. He was honest and forthright about the forecast and would make it right with me if the weather didnt cooperate enough to fish, but he was confident in being able to fish in the high wind. He put us on sharks - which the kids thought was pretty awesome. My daughter wanted to get a red drum - the bite was tough for them and sea trout - but she was able to get one and reel it in herself. Captain Josh knew the bite should be better for those and moved on to try tarpon fishing for a while. He set up in a spot he thought we could find a few and started marking a bunch on the graph. Tarpon weren't feeding but we hooked into a huge Kingfish! Captain Josh started going nuts over it - turns out it was his personal best and a true trophy class fish! Besides an awesome day on the water, I really enjoyed our time with Captain Josh. He's a down to earth guy who is passionate about what he does. He educated us about what species is where and when, how to find and catch them and even showed me and my boys how to read the graph. If you are looking for a charter, I highly recommend him and we will be repeating clients!

Had an absolute blast with Capt. Josh! We went for 2 seperate trips while here on vacation. I must say, Joshs knowledge of these waters and the fish here is truly impressive. He had us constantly on fish, and Screaming Reels!

Captain Josh provided us with the experience of a lifetime! When fishing was slow, he went out of his way to get us on fish, (including voluntarily extending the trip) and we ended the trip by landing what he described as the largest Bull Shark he's ever seen, at what he estimated as 13'. Overall, we caught several sharks and other species but the highlight was the massive Bull Shark and Captain Josh's stories. Definitely recommend booking a trip with Josh!

Fantastic day on the water w/Captain Josh, we had a full day with multiple tarpon hookups and leader touches (crazy for this time of year). He also got us into several schools of big redfish where we landed over a dozen that were over 36 inches and one at 41”. Additionally, we caught a few sharks while targeting tarpon. I highly recommend folks check out Screaming Reels if in the Fort Myers or Sanibel area.
