I can’t recommend Lewis Metals enough. Every time I head over there, the experience is seamless. The staff is consistently friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful, which makes a huge difference when you're trying to get in and out quickly. It’s rare to find a yard that maintains such a high level of customer service, but these guys nail it every time. If you're looking for a reliable spot with a great team, this is definitely the place to go!
There are only two places in town to do scrap metal. I have called and compared prices quit often and they are always close always. If they are diffent it's only by a penny or two and I go there often. Best place to go as far as service they will unload everything for you and the other place you have to unload everything your self I have never gotten halp there few times I went. It is a very busy place so you have to be careful driving around in there for they are trying to help everyone there at the time. Worked moving in all directions and while they are careful as possible you still have to do your part a little bit better and it's understandable why.
Told me all my copper wire was aluminum... im not stupid I know the difference. Gave me less than a 2 dollars for 15 pounds of copper. Never again! They can rip off someone else
Picked up recycling for another plant here. Turn in at entrance after checking in with forklift driver, pull around the big pile in the middle to get empty weight, backed in off of the road at second entrance by office for a mobile ramp, get loaded and go back to scale for weight. Get paperwork.
