Decent bar food! Hizemans located in Naperville was a nice place for lunchtime! Rather for the locals, family, large crowds or newbies! Plenty of seating and very much spacious. Along with flat screen tvs that decorated the entire bar! You can tell this place be LIT for all the games! Our server was named Max. He was very attentive and pretty much laid back! His politeness and aura was amazing!. Customer service to the MAX! Haha! He greeted and seated our table right away. And took out orders which took no time to served our table. We ordered the BBQ boneless wings for starters. And for our entrees we order the elote dog, Philly, grilled cheese for the kid and the famous Hizeman smashed burger with two patties! Everything was good. Kid enjoyed her grilled cheese soft and cheesy! As it should be! My Philly and dog was delightful. I was craving a beef dog and the Philly sounded great! Burger was juicy, cheesy and the flavors were making my taste buds do the Macarena! Hahah! The Hizeman burger was a HIT! ! Great job chef! Simple menu and rocked the table! Always great to have a simple meal with no issues. The vibe was very much a bar scene with BOMB energy! Conversations left and right, a competitive environment with laughter and memories and bets to be made or broken!! Check em out!
We went for a World Cup game. The TVs were half broken, dented, or dimmed (if and when Direct Tv was working). The cloth napkins smelled AWFUL. Like mildew left alone for a month. I couldn’t stand to use it. The waitress was lovely and the wings were good. They just need to fix up the place to what it was meant to be, and change how they clean their cloth napkins
Fantastic experience at Hizemans! My brother and I had a great time sitting at the bar. Practically have a TV everywhere you look and a massive view of the game in the main seating area(seen in my photos). Definitely recommend the fried mac and cheese donuts. We also enjoyed the shrimp tacos and Philly, but they may be a little spicy for someone not looking for it. Overall a fun time and awesome food with good service.
A friend recently brought us here for the first time, and I already want to come back. The food was delicious and the service was great. The portions were very generous too. Just all around perfect!
Came in for the Cubs game and ended up staying through the Kentucky Derby — great call. Sat at the bar the entire time and the vibe was perfect for game day: sound on the Cubs at just the right volume, plenty of TVs, and a crowd that actually cared about the game. Food was a home run across the board. Pulled pork waffle fries, buffalo chicken wrap, and the pulled pork tacos — all loaded with flavor. Hard to pick a favorite. Staff was great too. One bartender and one server handling the floor and they were taking care of everyone. The only knock is that once the Derby crowd rolled in things got slammed and drinks took noticeably longer to come around — not really their fault with the staffing they had, just something to know if you're heading in for a busy event. Overall a great experience and we'll absolutely be back.
