I had been meaning to check this spot out for quite some time, and we finally had the chance to stop in for some drinks and a snack before dinner and it did not disappoint!! My cocktail was really fun and unique, and the mushrooms were delicious along side. Would love to return to try more of the food menu in the future!

Came here yesterday for the second time. It's a great place that lives up to the name. Happy medium between "Let's go out for drinks", but also in a very low-key, chill environment. Crowd was great. Perfect for 30-something-year-olds :) Not too loud. Social enough. We ordered some mezcal palomas. Very tasty. The fries were really good. the Cauliflower was just okay. It was missing salt, and I don't think it was worth the price. Last I was here I ordered the cactus cooler, and it was delish as well! I wish the food/snack menu was a little more diverse.

Happy Medium brings the Maximum in quality, service, and creativity! One of the newest experiences to grace North Park and sure to be one of the best! It goes without saying WHY this spot is ALWAYS packed just about any night of the week. From one of the most creative cocktail menus in San Diego, to their delightful fold options, Happy Medium is a perfect middle ground for anyone exploring North Park for the first time or a familiar resident just trying to have a good time.

I've been wanting to try this cute little spot for happy hour and so glad I finally was able to go! The staff were so sweet and friendly. There was no wait, we were seated right away. There's bar seating and booth indoor and outdoor tables available. Parking is usually tricky in this area, but we got lucky with a spot right in front. Food/drink review: Buffalo sliders: (4/5) They were pretty tasty but the chicken was a little dry and super tiny. Kale salad/fries: (5/5) Surprisingly, the kale salad was delicious!! The perfect amount of dressing and no bitterness. The fries were super yummy and crispy. Hot dog: (3.5/5) It wasn't my favorite. The hot dog itself was juicy and flavorful but the toppings weren't my favorite. Baja blast slushee: (5/5) SO good and refreshing! Perfect drink for a nice hot day. The cups are also fun! Ward 8: (4/5) This was pretty tasty and more on the sweet side. I'd order it again. The zlatan: (4/5) This is basically just an old fashion. Definitely a strong sipping beverage! Cactus cooler: (3/5) It wasn't my favorite and the flavors weren't what I was expecting!

Very cool cocktails. The Super Grass was a really interesting drink. The Pandan adds a baked/pastry like layer to the drink that I found fantastic. All in all, the team was really cool even to last call. Would revisit for sure
