This place is a solid 10/10 across the board! The food is incredibly fresh, and the prices are very reasonable considering the quality you're getting. The facility was spotless and the service was top-notch-everyone was friendly and efficient. Quick Tip: If you're sitting outside, just a heads-up to be careful with the bench on the right side (visible in the photos). It feels a bit unstable, so just watch out before sitting down to avoid any accidents! Overall, an amazing spot for classic seafood. I'II definitely be coming back!

I stopped by here with me and my partner after seeing this place on tik tok. It seems to be an older establishment and I like trying older establishments in Los Angeles but this was just not worth it to me. First the line was extremely long, I'm talking standing no benches nothing to rest upon and my poor BF was standing in that line for over 45 minutes. He graciously allowed me to stay seated at one of the benches because I wouldn't have been able to stand that long. Now he having experienced more of it up close told me that it was primarily due to customers not the people who worked there themselves. However I find that has no excuse if you know your customers are mainly like this then you should make accommodations to be more efficient. I'm sorry I still just find no reason that's the only way to get this food is to call in or stand in a 45-minute line in 2026. And then by the time he ordered it was still another 10-minute wait to get the actual food, overall making it a little over an hour from time of arrival in line to actually putting a piece of food in my mouth. We finally got the food and honestly it was just okay. The better didn't have that much seasoning. It wasn't fried crispy as we normally like our fish. The rice was just plain, I didn't try the fries, he said they were ok. The tastiest thing on the menu was the Char-Broil giant shrimp, now that is something worth going to this place for but not worth standing in that line for. We will not be back

Delicious, fresh & well worth the drive & traffic! A colleague of mine wanted to take me out for lunch, & we decided on this spot with no regrets! The line was ridiculously long but it was worth the wait. The menu is a little pricey for fast food, but again, its fresh! I'll definitely be back !

I’ve been coming to Fisherman’s Market for over 30 years. My late father and his brother first brought me here when I was younger, and it has remained one of my favorite places in Los Angeles ever since. Over the decades, prices have changed—as they have everywhere—but one thing has stayed remarkably consistent: the quality of the food. Every meal I've had here has been restaurant-quality, fresh, satisfying, and something I genuinely look forward to. The food always sits well with me, which says a lot after so many years of eating here. I’m especially grateful to the hardworking staff and ownership for maintaining such high standards. It’s not easy to keep quality at this level for decades, but they continue to do it. Years ago, this was one of the busiest and most sought-after food destinations in Downtown Los Angeles. While there are now many more restaurants competing for attention, Fisherman’s Market continues to stand on its own merit. The lines may be shorter these days, but the food is every bit as good as it has always been. Expect to spend around $20–$30 per person, but consider what you're getting: restaurant-quality seafood without the added cost of a tip. In my opinion, it remains one of the best values in Los Angeles. If you’ve never been here, you owe it to yourself to experience it at least once. Places like this are part of Los Angeles history. Fisherman’s Market is a true classic, and I hope it stays around for many years to come. P. S. Halibut, MahiMahi, Branzino and fish plate are all my favorites!

Fisherman’s Outlet is my go-to spot for fresh seafood in Los Angeles. The selection is excellent, with a variety of fish, shellfish, and other seafood that always feels fresh. The staff are friendly and helpful, offering advice on how to cook or prepare different items. Prices are fair for the quality, and the store is clean and well organized. I love coming here to pick up ingredients for home-cooked meals. It’s a reliable place if you want fresh seafood without any hassle.
