My dad and I had the best time on our fishing charter with Captain Nick! He made everything so easy and fun and he’s clearly very knowledgeable of the area. My dad summed it up with “the best fishing day of my life!”
Booked a half day/am trip w Capt. Nick for shelling and fishing with 3 generations of our family, 3 adults, 2 kids (8yo/9yo). We saw a huge pod of dolphins that surfed behind our boat on the way to our first spot! At our first fishing spot, we caught a variety of species almost immediately, and everyone fishing had landed a few fish, including a good sized bonnet head shark! We stopped at shell island (must see) for some shelling and found a whole mess of complete conch shells! Our next stop provided for shelling and fishing, and while some explored and found shells, others caught fish after fish off the point, including multiple catfish and bonnet head sharks!! Capt. Nick is a local, super knowledgeable about the area and local wildlife. He’s great with kids and families, and made us feel right at home. We’ve been on numerous charters in different locations, and this is at the top of our list!! A great trip, 10/10, highly recommend!!
Had another great experience with Captain Nick! I’ve used him as a charter captain for at least 6 years now. Been out twice this year already. Born and raised Marco he knows where the fish are at. It’s more than just fishing with him. He’s knowledgeable on the whole area and educates you on everything Marco. He caters your trip to whatever you want to do. We’ve gone shelling, fishing, sightseeing, swimming. Like he says “ it’s all about having fun “! He’s good with kids and families. I highly recommend trying Family Friendly Charters with Capt. Nick for a great fishing trip. I hope to go again this year , but if not I will definitely book for next. Bookings fill up fast so I wouldn’t hesitate to go to the website and book your trip. We had a half day trip with Captain Nick and it was great. Two of us were with him and caught several different species from Mackerel, Pompano, Snapper, Whitefish for eating and threw back a baby hammerhead, at least 7 catfish and over ten Jack Carvhale. Captain Nick provided a great experience, is extremely knowledgeable, accommodating and helped us to get the most out of our time. This was my second fishing trip with Captain Nick, I will definitely use him again and have no hesitation in recommending him to others.
Have fished with a lot of charter captains all over the world and Captain Nick is the best of the best. He knows the waters of SW Florida like the back of his hand and he works hard to put you on the fish. “Family Friendly” is the perfect name since Captain Nick could not have been more friendly, helpful and accommodating to my 14yr old son and his friend. It was a perfect afternoon on the water. Looking forward to our next trip.
