We enjoyed an excellent dinner here. We sat outside viewing Seaside Village. My wife had filet and lobster, I had Sea Bass and we shared lobster mashed potatoes. My drink is a Bulliet Sour. The steak was perfectly cooked to my wife's ask, rare+. The lobster was a staff suggestion and was sweet and delicious. The sea bass was amazing and served in what I would call a soy broth. The mashed potatoes were creamy and perfect with a lot of claw meat on top. My drink was amazing, tart and flavorful but still able to taste the whiskey.
Bryan was beyond FANTASTIC! OMG!!! I don't even have the words to express how much I enjoyed my birthday dinner. The initial champagne toast was delicious. The strawberry lemon drop martini was top tier. Then on to the crab cake and shrimp cocktail and lobster bisque soup. It was mind BLOWINGLY phenomenal. THEN the filet mignon and mashed potatoes and shrimp for dinner exceeded all expectations. I'll definitely be back before the end of 2026!!!
Great food & atmosphere, there was a band playing throughout our visit. We chose to sit in the bar area which we were really glad of as I felt it added to the atmosphere & we could watch the cocktails being made at the bar. The service was great, they were efficient and quick to replenish drinks. My boyfriend chose the lamb and the wagyu dumplings which he really enjoyed (he also ordered the side of mash for himself which was definitely a sharing size for 2-3 people in hindsight) I chose the filet steak with asparagus which was equally as delicious. I would recommend you visiting!
We had a wonderful experience at Eddie V’s in San Diego for a birthday celebration with a party of six. The service was excellent, the ambiance was polished and inviting, and the overall atmosphere made the evening feel special from the moment we arrived. Our filets and salmon were all beautifully prepared and cooked just right, and the birthday dessert was a lovely touch that made the celebration even more memorable. I also ordered the lobster bisque, and the tableside presentation made it feel like an experience in itself. Having it poured at the table was a beautiful detail and added a sense of elegance to the meal. While I’ll admit Mastro’s still wins for me when it comes to depth of flavor, richness, and generous portions of lobster, Eddie V’s absolutely delivered a refined and enjoyable dining experience overall.
The staff was very welcoming, the service was great and thevfood was delicious. We enjoyed our Anniversary dinner and drinks.
