Pete came out and started the diagnostic process, while walking me through it. Explained things as he went. Ended up being the motor windings (1 of 2 sets of windings, similar to a condenser motor on an a/c). Cost out the door, parts an labor, would be around 4 bills; actually reasonable. However, my machine is around 6 or 7 years old, and the cost of a new machine is probably just a couple hundred dollars more, which I decided to do. The entire process was painless, and the service call was minimal. Great company, great service. Keeping them in my book!
We’ve been using Ace Refrigeration and Appliance Repair for over 15 years and they have never disappointed. We have had other repair companies when the service is associated with our home warranty plan so we have had plenty of opportunity for comparison. When spending my own money, I always use ACE. They may not be the cheapest, but they are prompt, courteous, and effective. I even have a preferred repairman (Stacey) who I request even if it means I need to wait until he is available.
It’s been 14 years that I use them to help me with my appliances. Always the same technician and I have plenty of confidence on his job. I am not sure if at this time it was high the price or not bc in nine years this was the first service in my dryer. So, bc they don’t make this size anymore and it has a steam and other features. Still in perfect shape and silent, it worth to fix than to buy a new bc they give me 1 year warranty. I always call ACE for any issues I have and the level of service is always the top.
Use Ace.. Do not make the mistake I did. I shopped around for a better installation price for my dishwasher and ended up having to call Ace to come out and fix the problem the cheaper installation company caused. Could have avoided a weeks worth of trouble if I had used Aced the first time. Great company, great communication, great service.
Ace is an extremely competent and honest business. They do exactly what they say they are going to do in a timely and financially reasonable manner. We have been using them for years.
